We will be hosting Henna Night on April 16th via Zoom. Learn how to draw various henna designs from @hennabyishak! Everyone, no matter you skill level, is welcome! Henna not your cup of chai? Don’t worry. We will have other activities too such as coloring and karaoke. The first 48 people to RSVP will receive a care package from us. 

We are also hosting 2 contests where you can win a $10 gift card. The henna contest will take place after the event. Be as creative as you would like! Good luck!

Due to recent events concerning police brutality targeting the Black community, the Indian Student Association and We Charity - MN invite you to join us for an engaging online discussion about implicit biases, racial issues, and police brutality! We will be discussing issues such as the history of the Civil Rights Movement, anti-Blackness within the South Asian community, how to be a better ally to the Black community, and many more!

Come and discuss relevant topics about the Indian experience from the first generation, second generation, and immigrant perspectives. Pizza will be provided!

Bring in the semester with some hot chai and Indian food!

We know that finals season is the most stressful time of year for college students, so come destress at our collaborative event! Join us for some curry, catered by India Palace, Keefer Court, and Zenbox Curry (vegetarian options available) and games from cultures all over the world. We guarantee that you'll leave feeling full and relaxed!

The Basant Kite Festival has been a historic spring time kite flying event during the Basant Panchami festival in the Punjab region in India and Pakistan. According to the Punjabi calendar, it is held on the fifth day of the lunar month of Magha (in late January or early February) marking the start of spring.

Join us on Friday, April 19th, 2019 from 2-5 PM outside of Memorial Union (Front Lawn) for kite flying, food, and fun! We will have a traditional Indian/Pakistani lunch, and both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items will be served (while supplies last).

Come and discuss relevant, and important topics such as racism, colorism, subtle curry traits, generally fitting in with the community and more. This event is co-sponsored by the Asian Pacific American Resource Center.
